How we met

Brianna's side of the story:

It all started almost 8 years ago. I was hanging out at a local coffee shop, Rock N' Java. There were a group of guys hanging out playing cards and I joined the table to hang out with them also. I didn't play cards but I was struck by one of the guys there. (I get butterflies in my stomach just thinking about it now). I started cheerleading for him in the game. After Rock N' Java, we went to hang out at Matt Carol's place; I had to beg my twin to go over there with me since she was my ride.

Jason and I chatted the whole night and that's where it all started. Many sleepless nights later (we were just hanging out all night, get your mind out of the gutter) we were officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Rock N' Java doesn't exist anymore but we are still going strong.

Jason's side of the story :

I was playing cards with my friends at a coffee shop when this cute girl and her twin sister joined us at the table. I had seen Brianna there before, but had never really talked to her.

She ended up sitting beside me during the game, and before long we were talking. I knew right away I was in trouble, this was definitely the kind of girl I could fall in love with, and at the time the last thing in the world I wanted was a serious relationship.

After the game we all went to our friend's apartment, and Brianna and I spent most of the night talking. From there it was chatting online, talking on the phone, and our first real date when we went to go see A Bug's Life. Before long I was in that serious relationship that I had thought I didn't want, and loving every minute of it.
